Food – is a source of energy. Remember how many calories give the breakdown of proteins, fats and carbohydrates? What is the quantitative composition of the diet?
Food – the building material for new cells. Proteins entering the body, break down to amino acids. All are about 150 amino acids, but only 22 of them are the building blocks of proteins. Carbohydrates – energy source. They are found in vegetables, fruits, milk.
Fat – a source of energy and fat-soluble vitamins. Fats are animal and vegetable.
Vitamins. – Catalysts, accelerators metabolic processes. There are fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K and water soluble vitamins – all the rest. Mineral salts and trace elements, such as calcium, magnesium, iodine, iron, part of various tissues and hormones.
Hormones – the biologically active substances involved in all biochemical processes. They are formed in the body, but they can do and the food of animal origin, especially if the animal is fed a hormone supplements.
Besides hormonal supplements products may contain residues of pesticides, more energy-synthetic substances, nitrates, preservatives, food dyes. Sometimes these additives make children and adults painful reaction.
In food may be poison. For example, poisonous mushrooms. Toadstools, fly agaric, false honey should not be eaten. There are poisonous berries and poisonous herbs like edible. Children need to know about them as soon as possible, let them remember the look of poisonous plants. Poisoned them more often it is the children.
